Skype for Web Lets You Make Calls to Mobile Phones and Landlines

Skype today updated its web version with host of  new features. With this update Users can call mobile numbers or Landline numbers, watch YouTube videos, can also add non-Skype users and get notifications.

This Web version does not require installation of Skype application; it will support all Major Browsers such as Google Chrome, Fire Fox, Explorer and Safari. Users can also login quickly with their facebook accounts.

How to Get Started?

Just Log on to https://login.skype.com/login and sign in.

Once successfully signed in -you will find an option “call phones”, you can call any Mobile number and Land line number directly from Skype for Web. However you need to have Skype Credits or subscription to make calls, In this Just dial the number and hit the call button.

This Web version also has a previewing option of web link that we share or receive. Also It lets user to preview you tube videos which are received or sent.

Also new in Skype for Web is support for notifications, so you can be alerted to incoming messages even if you’re in another application or different browser tab, the company notes.Microsoft says these features are the first of many more on the roadmap planned for the months ahead.
