How to get Aircel Porting Code (Method 2)
Go to your mobile network settings and change the network to AIRTEL 2G manually. If you are able to connect to Airtel network, please send the regular PORT message on 1900.
Before that Switch off your handset, remove the SIM card, reinsert it after 2 minutes and then select the AIRTEL2G network manually
For example- if your number is 9xxx9xxxx5, you need to send a message as PORT 9xxx9xxxx5 on 1900. You will receive Aircel port number in next 24 hours.
Please keep your mobile network latched on Airtel network or Aircel network ( if available) to receive the SMS. You can also use this method to receive incoming SMS such as OTP.

Important Update as on 28 Feb 2018:
TRAI issued circle wise Mobile number portability UPC codes for Aircel. TRAI also directed Aircel to issue UPC codes to all subscribers and inform them via SMS.
The porting code will be valid for 45 days exclusively for Aircel customers. If you are an Aircel customer you need to port out before 15th April 2018.
Aircel new customers can also port out within the above mentioned time frame.
Aircel also requested TRAI to issue directions to all Mobile Operators and MNP providers to allow additional porting codes in circles where its subscriber base is over 1 million for smooth MNP transition.
If you are unable to get Aircel porting code online, Do not worry! Aircel is expected to SMS UPC code directly to your mobile number.

In Delhi till now the problem is same – sim number does not match.
On 4th march I got porting code for 2 numbers.
But 5th onwards it stopped working.

I tried calling the given 9762012345 number to get upc through IVR but the number does not work as network is switched off
I tried website link and got UPC on 10 March and same I gave to bsnl for porting but after 7 days completion I got revert from bsnl that porting request is cancelled at gateway. Now again I have re initiated the porting through bsnl on 22 March. Pls help as what to do in such case.

Step6: Enter last 5 digits of your Aircel SIM number ( Leave the last dummy digit) — I could not understand this dummy digit part . My Aircel card is a mini SIM issued in 2007 October . Never lost and never been replaced . And so , I can clearly see the number written on the back — 32K 89913 31927 12289 7544 . Question is , what would be my last 5 digits ? Thanks in advance .
